Walk On Memories (from The War / Power Of Music – 2017)

Sometimes, it can be hard to distinguish these mid-tempo EXO r&b tracks from one another. Walk On Memories doesn’t do much that would set it apart from similar efforts. The moody beat is appealing, and the hook plays around with a few nice rhythms, but the entire thing feels too sluggish for my liking. Things briefly ignite for the harmony-rich final chorus, making me long for a more ambitious arrangement. Instead, Walk On Memories seems content to rest on its lush, otherworldly atmosphere. As a result, this is easily the least memorable track on The War/Power Of Music album.
