Sweet Witches (from Pinocchio / Hot Summer – 2011)
Sweet Witches is an off-kilter electro pop track with a bit of a lounge feel. It’s a real oddball, from its simple synth beat to its staccato melody. Almost the entire track hinges on the same herky-jerky rhythm, which threatens to make it feel a little one-note. But, the quirkiness of the production keeps things interesting. I especially love the rubbery electro bass that runs through several moments during the verses. And as much as I usually hate aegyo-style singing, I think it fits quite well here. I’m kind of surprised that this isn’t a Thomas Troelsen produced track, because it reminds me a lot of his work with Danish groups Junior Senior and Superheroes.

It’s a Hitchhiker track actually. He’s like the king of catchy weirdness when it comes to SM producers lol

Sorry, could not here you, too busy jamming to 10$ lol.
But he has some great classics (A-Cha, Come Back Again). Actually, I am surprised I did not realize this was a Hitchhiker track.
Thanks Spectrales!

one of my favorite lowkey f(x) tunes perfect for both halloween and as a cute, general witch time. With better timing and more care this could’ve been a cute opening tune for a witch related series of some sort.
