Glitter (from 4 Walls – 2015)
Glitter is an exuberant track, bursting with a sense of positivity right from the start. Its bright synths have an energy similar to the theme song of a children’s tv show, but this is countered by a dynamic arrangement that pulls the track in all the right directions. The optimistic nature of the verses is further propelled by a vocal-rich pre-chorus and stomping hook. The entire song has a restlessness to it, but in a compelling way. My favorite moment comes during the bridge, when strummed guitar briefly transforms the track into a campfire singalong. Some of the song’s touches are a bit too sugar-sweet for their own good, but with a title like Glitter, would you expect anything less?

“similar to the theme song of a children’s tv show” my mind went immediately to that specific show when I heard the songs intro, haha!
That aside, I love this song. It’s sugary, but with a good beat and enough original twists and turns. It’s been a while since I listened to it, so I’m glad this review reminded me!

Weirdly, not one of my favorite 4Walls songs in a lot of aspects, but I particularly like the lyrics from it.
“On the night sky,the moment that the light bends the suddenly surging stars , the colliding night like the firework that flashes gold I will discover you…”
Really poetic. That makes me love the song even more.
