She’s Back (from First Invasion – 2010)
As Infinite’s first single with Sweetune, She’s Back set the stage for what would follow over the next four years. The song is relentlessly cheerful, melding 80’s power pop with the kind of soaring vocals the group has become known for. Rather than be entirely synth-driven, She’s Back is bolstered by stabs of crunchy guitar that give it a real unique flavor within their discography. Then there’s that thrilling, kaleidoscopic dance break that rockets into the final, bombastic chorus. Sweetune hadn’t yet refined their sound, but She’s Back throws so many thrilling moments into the blender that it becomes impossible to resist.
