Entrust (from First Invasion – 2010)
Initially coming across as a fluffy throwaway, Entrust has since become almost legendary as Infinite’s “fan service” song performed at nearly every concert. It’s certainly on the lighter end of their discography, but its cutesy hooks are tempered by a prominent guitar accompaniment that lends it unexpected heft. As part of their debut mini album, the song has all the hallmarks of fresh rookies trying to appeal their charms and make a name for themselves. That its chorus is so ridiculously catchy (some might say “cloying”) is only a bonus. But regardless of your threshold for cute pop songs, it’s hard not to be won over by the song’s goofy appeal.
