Real Story (from Over The Top / Paradise – 2011)

Closing out Infinite’s first full album, Real Story is the type of inoffensive mid-tempo pop song that is the very definition of filler. This being Infinite, even their filler is stronger than many groups, but there’s no denying the slightness of the song. The melody isn’t particularly memorable, even if it’s bolstered by a gorgeous blend of harmonies. Thankfully, Woohyun gets the opportunity to belt out a couple of solid power notes during the track’s climax, and the entire thing has a warm and fuzzy sentiment that works well for an album finale.
