As Good As It Gets (from New Challenge – 2013)

Sweetune had been working with Infinite for years before As Good As It Gets was recorded, and by this time the production team had full mastery of how to utilize the guys’ voices for maximum impact. The melody here is about as perfect as pop can get, and the propulsive, electric guitar-sprinkled instrumental is just as strong. But what really puts As Good As It Gets over the edge is its vocal layering and use of background harmonies. The entire final minute is supported by a gorgeous swirl of hypnotic ad-libs, stacked on top of each other to create a density of sound that draws you further and further into the song.
