60 Seconds (from New Challenge – 2013)
Though leader Sungkyu’s original solo recording remains the definitive version of 60 Seconds and would easily garner a rating in the 9’s, the full group brings a certain amount of weight to the already-excellent track. It’s nice to hear a bit more tonal diversity in the verses, but the biggest shift happens during the explosive chorus, which benefits from the kind of immense vocal layering that Infinite built their sound on. The addition of a Hoya/Dongwoo rap certainly doesn’t hurt, either. If one song deserved a full group re-recording, it was definitely 60 Seconds.

Don’t I know it! Haha about halfway through I began to wonder what I had gotten myself into.
Now Infinite just needs to release a new album so we have more fodder to analyze and obsess over.

Omg is this the last one? Congrats on finishing, your dedication is admirable!
….is there any chance we can expect a B1A4 A-Z series at some point? Or another group, perhaps? Infinite is a group I still need to get more into (which your list has certainly aided me in doing) but a B1A4 edition I’d look forward to enthusiastically, as I’m more than familiar with their discography! 😀
(I would understand if you need a good long break after this one though, haha)

I’ll likely delve into another group at some point, but like you said, it won’t be right away. I need some time to recharge!
B1A4 would definitely be on the shortlist of candidates. There are a couple of more senior groups I would love to do as well (TVXQ, Shinee), but they have such immense catalogs that it would be quite an undertaking.
