Follow Me (from Season 2/Be Back – 2014)
One of the most underrated tracks in Infinite’s arsenal, Follow Me is a captivating blend of ornate strings and thrilling tempo shifts. Kicking off at a gallop, the first verse swells with a beautiful build before crashing into the impressive, falsett0-driven chorus. From there, the song never really lets up. The second verse features some gorgeous flourishes of symphonics, but Follow Me’s best moment comes at the tail end of Hoya’s rap, where his voice is echoed to a fade out, only to signal the return of some truly electrifying power notes from Woohyun. It’s an expertly arranged track, so full of surprises and idiosyncrasies that it’s impossible not to be captured from the very first second.
