Alone (Infinite H) (from Season 2 / Back – 2014)

Infinite H had already proven themselves as a credible hip-hop unit by the time Alone rolled around, but by focusing solely on Hoya and Dongwoo without the addition of a guest vocalist, this is one of the duo’s strongest moments. The laid-back instrumental provides the perfect groove for the guys’ playful flow, and that sing-song chorus is unlike anything else in Infinite’s repertoire. Dongwoo, in particular, has such incredible texture to his tone, infusing the hook with just enough grit to push it just outside the idol world while still retaining the dance pop catchiness that Infinite does so well.
