Memories (from Season 2 / Be Back – 2014)

Memories is the kind of song that sneaks up on you. It’s not immediately impressive as it floats along a warm, mid-tempo groove, but its modest arrangement is carried out with such verve and personality that it becomes incredibly charming in the long run. Performed at many of their concerts, Memories is a rousing pop sing-along, complete with impossibly catchy ad-libs. And just when you think the song is going to settle for “pleasant,” a robust guitar surges in for the bridge. On most groups’ albums, the track would have become perfectly serviceable filler. But with Infinite’s impossibly gorgeous vocal blend, it’s elevated to something much more special.
