Up To You (from Reality – 2015)
Also translated as “Take Care of the Ending,” Up To You closes out one of Infinite’s strongest albums — 2015’s Reality. The aggressive instrumental melds electro-swing with more traditional dance pop to thrilling, effortless effect. The group is up to the task, attacking each line with a controlled assuredness that elevates what might have become simple album filler. The song was produced by the same composer as 2013’s Inception, and plays like an upbeat version of that track. It has a forward-thinking edginess without sacrificing the pure pop power that fuels Infinite’s best work.
