Just Another Lonely Night (from 24 Hours/For You – 2015)
Infinite’s original Japanese material has been hit and miss, with some of their b-sides eclipsing the actual singles. That’s the case with Just Another Lonely Night, which opens with an addictive vocal riff from Sungkyu. The verses are a slow-burn of emotive unrest, but they’re quickly swept away by the song’s expansive chorus. A gorgeous surge of vocals punctuate this moment, giving the track an elegant sound that blends Infinite’s past with a more uniquely Japanese appeal. Lonely Night may be couched in heartache, but the guys make it sound so smooth.
