24 Hours (from For You – 2015)
Coming off Dilemma’s hard rock stomp, 24 Hours reverted to a much more standard j-pop sound for their second original Japanese single. The song is overlong by about a minute, but it’s refreshing to hear Infinite tackle a slightly more r&b style of vocal performance. Sungkyu and Woohyun sound great on the chorus, even if the melody comes off as a bit generic by the group’s (very high) standards. It goes to show just how important collaborators and songwriters are. Even with the guys’ highly recognizable vocals, this doesn’t sound much like the Infinite we know and love.
