Fantasy (from What Is Mom OST – 2012)

Infinite hasn’t recorded much soundtrack work, but this synth-driven ode to the 80’s fits right in with their album material. Fantasy hits strong right out of the gate, offering a propulsive electro gallop that blends right into its surging, strings-laden chorus. This is Infinite singing in one voice, their tones layered gorgeously together to create the sort of harmony only they can create. Ultimately, the song is too slight and repetitive to rank among their classics, but as a track recorded at the height of their Sweetune-produced imperial phase, Fantasy knocks most releases by other k-pop artists right off their feet.
