The annual Bias List Legendary Songs Inauguration Ceremony has returned! Yes, I’m a few months late on this, but it’s been a busy year of new releases and I was waiting for an empty day to compose this feature.
It’s exceedingly rare for me to award any song a 10-out-of-10 rating on release day. Instead, Legendary Songs usually pull their way to the top over a course of months — sometimes even years. The songs below have managed this feat, and there are a few more that are on the verge.
Just like last year, I’ll be mixing J-pop into this ceremony as well, though I’m only going back a couple of years. Feel free to post your picks in the comments.

New Genesis is such a special song, it absolutely deserves. I’m also glad to see Lovesong here. It’s never failed to move me when I listen even though it’s been more than two years since it came out.

Those “On the Bubble” that are definite 10s for me are Nonstop, Summer Bike, and The Answer. Speaking of Nonstop, RoaD-B are very active with social media, so I keep thinking new songs must be in the works, but it’s been such an agonizingly long wait. Does anyone know if they have anything new in the pipeline? Since Sweetune had a career renaissance with the two songs they did with them last year, I keep thinking more must be coming (knock-on-wood-knock-on-wood).

YES! NEW GENESIS AND FOREVER 1! I actually discovered the former thanks to you and the latter was my #1 song of last year so this was cool to see. Also Lovesong which is my favourite TXT song and one of my top songs of 2021.
