Top Three K-Pop Songs of December 2017

At the end of each month, I look back at my three favorite title tracks by k-pop artists. I take my own ratings into account, but there’s a bit of wiggle room as certain songs tend to grow or fade.

December 2017 Overall Thoughts

2017 certainly ended with a whimper. December is usually a pretty barren month, but this year it was exceptionally lacking. Beyond the middling quality of most of the songs, there simply weren’t that many songs to consider in the first place. In any other month, none of my top three would have made it past “honorable mention” status, but I’m hoping that this means the industry is simply gearing up for a fantastic January. My top song might surprise you, based solely on the reviews I’ve written this month. But it’s proven to be a real grower, quickly becoming my most-played December release.
