Top Three K-Pop Songs of July 2017

Monthly Round-UpAt the end of each month, I look back at my three favorite title tracks by k-pop artists. I take my own ratings into account, but there’s a bit of wiggle room as certain songs tend to grow or fade.

July 2017 Overall Thoughts

July is always the month I look most forward to when it comes to k-pop. Summer is in full swing, bringing with it a host of big-name, uptempo comebacks. 2017 was no different, though I’m not yet sure where it ranks when compared with previous years (though its cumulative rating would suggest it was pretty underwhelming). As has been the pattern this year, the month presented a host of solid tracks but only a couple truly spectacular releases. All three of my top songs are by artists who have been in the top three before, and my number one track sets a new record. This particular group now has the most “number one of the month” songs since I started this site.
