Top Three K-Pop Songs of February 2017

Monthly Round-UpAt the end of each month, I look back at my three favorite title tracks by k-pop artists. I take my own ratings into account, but there’s a bit of wiggle room as certain songs tend to grow or fade.

February 2017 Overall Thoughts

If I could describe February with only one word, it would be “consistent.” There weren’t a lot of high peaks or big missteps, resulting in most tracks ending up in the seven to eight range when it came to grading. This results in what seems like a slightly over-inflated monthly score, especially compared to months like July or November of last year, which gave us many more classic tracks. Nevertheless, it was a steady, strong February. My top track of the month is my favorite k-pop song of the year so far, and if this group continues to release material as frequently as they have so far in 2017, they may just end up dominating my round-ups for awhile.
