At the end of each month, I’ll look back at my three favorite title tracks by k-pop artists. I take my own ratings into account, but there’s a bit of wiggle room as certain songs tend to grow or fade.
December 2016 Overall Thoughts
As expected, the last month of the year was comparatively sparse when it came to new releases. With that said, there were actually some big name comebacks during the first half. As happens sometimes, I feel like my reviews over-inflated some of the veteran acts and underestimated the rookies. My number one song of the month wasn’t my highest rated, but I’ve found that it’s had the best longevity. Now it’s time to turn our attention to 2017, and what proves to be an uncharacteristically stuffed first week of January when it comes to new music!
