Since the start of The Bias List in January 2016, I’ve always looked back at my three favorite title tracks by K-pop artists each month. Now, it’s time to look even further into the past, one month at a time. And, yes, the top three rankings count toward The Bias List’s personal artist scorecard!

December 2015 Overall Thoughts
Comparatively speaking, December 2015 was pretty packed. Not only that, but it offered a handful of releases by major artists, marking the long-awaited return of veterans like PSY and Turbo, as well as up-and-coming names like Seventeen and iKON. A number of these songs were quite good, and not just the usual winter fare that K-pop tends to peddle this time of year.
Of course, there was plenty of winter fare as well. SM Entertainment was all about the holidays in 2015, with EXO’s second winter album, a TTS Christmas mini, and festive digital singles from BoA, f(x) and Red Velvet. But, my favorite holiday release by far was B1A4’s It’s Christmas Time. That song is just pure joy from start to finish.
My top three picks are not holiday themed. In fact, the top two feel more like spring or summer singles. Though December 2015 offered more boy group releases than girl group, it was the ladies that ruled the month. My top pick remains one of my favorite songs of its year, and my personal high point for this group.
December 2015 also marked the start of The Bias List! To be fair, most of this month’s posts were just holdovers from my previous blog, and I hadn’t really figured out how I wanted everything to work yet. Some of these early reviews might be a little cringey, with oddly scored ratings. It was a “soft” start before I committed to posting daily starting in January 2016. I haven’t looked back since!

Whaaa…? There was a month, long ago, when LABOUM and Lovelyz took two of the three top spots while songs from EXO and Seventeen sat among the dishonorable unmentionables? SAY.. ..IT.. ..ISN’T.. ..SO!
Nick? Were you on vacation that month? Had you experienced mild head trauma and were concussed during that months selection? Temporary insanity? Dis-associative personality disorder? Solar flares?
Give us deets! Spill that tea! Inquiring minds want to know!
