Unfair (from Sing For You – 2015)

Promoted as a sub-title track alongside Sing For You, Unfair finds EXO at their least guarded, offering a loose arrangement perched over a swinging, piano-infused instrumental. The song gives the guys a chance to showcase their personality, but not at the expense of rich, layered vocals and catchy hooks. It takes advantage of the group’s varying tones, with Kai’s post-chorus aside acting as the track’s most memorable jolt. Though it’s pitched as a cozy winter affair, Unfair is welcome all year round — any time you’re looking for an easy, laid-back jam.
