Falling For You (from For Life – 2016)

Unabashedly festive, Falling For You is the musical equivalent of a warm holiday party on a snowy day. Bolstered by jubilant brass and splashes of vocal harmony, the track has a lush, upbeat swing to it. Its groovy verses get the job done, but the real treat is Falling For You’s chorus, which climaxes in a gorgeous blend of voices that sends the melody off on a high note. The song has an appealingly organic style, which feels extra important in this age of programmed instrumentation and sample packs. This is as musically inviting as EXO gets, and it’s a blast to hear the interplay of their diverse tones.
